Hardlines Company provides webcasting services for everyone from touring
bands to Fortune 500 Companies. Although we are based in Bellingham, Washington, we do
events not only in Whatcom County, but worldwide. To date we have done
webcasts in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Geneva, Prague, Paris, and in Kobe, Yokohama, and Nagoya, Japan - as well as
in a number of cities across the U.S. and Canada
We take video signals from analog gear, or digital video cameras, and
broadcast it worldwide, live, over the internet. Normally we provide both
Windows Media 9 and Quicktime 7 (H.264) streaming media feeds for the
convenience of our viewers, but we can also stream the media in RealVideo or whichever format fits your needs best.
The next time you need to reach an audience with web-enabled video, whether
your audience is a few people, or spread out across the world, please
contact us. We can provide anything from a turnkey solution to just the
encoding process. We work closely with video producers, directors, and
webmasters to get live video out to the world, using internet technologies.

Event IT Services
Webcasting not only requires a video production and encoding component, but
also requires a reliable, high performance internet connection for us to
send our streaming media to our servers. (The end users connect to our
servers, here in the United States, regardless of where we are located).
Because we require this high speed connection, we often provide Event IT
Services to our clients on location. In these cases we arrive several days
before the actual event, source the internet connectivity and provide secure
WPA Wireless (WiFi) connectivity, printing, internet kiosks, and IT Support
services to our clients. We work with Windows PC’s as well as Apple Macintoshes,
providing complete support for VPN’s, private networks, etc.
In many cases, we are able to reduce the total cost of internet connectivity
while dramatically increasing the bandwidth available to our clients by
reducing the number of internet connections that are needed in a convention
center.
